It started getting (…) in New York, you could
hardly see any stars because of the plethora of billboards and neon publicities
shining insistently. Autumn days were getting (…).I don’t usually like getting
(…) the city, but that night things were different. I was so tired because
during three months I was working extremely hard to get (…). One thought was
giving me (…)- that I was getting (..) that day. I got a yellow (…). It was
getting on for 7 p.m. The taxi driver
charged me twice the normal price. Apparently that wasn’t my lucky day. At
least I finally got to the airport at time. I got on (…). After seven-hour
flight I arrived at my homeland- France. As soon as I entered my house, I realized
that my wife had cheated on me. Well, we never got (...) very well. It got me (…)
a very bad mood, so I decided to get (…). I knew one bar near my house which
was still open at that late hour. A barman asked me if he could get me (…)
because I looked so gaunt. I told him my story. He got my (…) and seemed
sympathizing with me. He said that I would get (…) to it, I should get (…) as soon as possible, however
my wife shouldn’t get (…) with it. At 5 a.m. I got to a (…) completely drunk
but with lighter heart.
I didn't think you would make it into a gap-filling task, but that's quite OK. I hope I got most of them right ;)
